The Modus is a modular seating system that was developed to satisfy our customers’ requirements primarily when planning collaborative and high use seating areas. More specifically, durability, flexibility, and field replaceable components are the main features used to guide us through the development process of the Modus. Durability was achieved by the use of all metal components for the entire frame and arm construction. The 11 different modules, with customizable dimensions, allow for flexibility when configuring seating systems. The construction method and connection hardware allow for components e.g. seats, backs, arms, tables to be conveniently dismounted without sacrificing the utility of the remaining components. Other features are the rear clean out space, wall saver metal base, electrical connectivity, ipod docking station and 7” kick/clean under space. The Modus is a sleek and modern design that is a practical solution for high use public lounges, lobbies, receptions and hallways.
