The Barton is a full scale recliner designed and engineered for comfort. The generous proportions provide ample room. The comfort grip arm caps provide increased stability facilitating entry and exit. The arm caps can be fully upholstered, hardwood or polyurethane. The back is designed to provide lumbar support and the contoured head rest provides lateral head support.
The Barton recliner has a sleep position, whereby, the mechanism allows patients to lie completely flat. The back rest reclines and inclines via a gas cylinder, locking in any position, activated by a finger clip mounted on the outside arm. The leg rest operates independently via an easy lever, mounted on the outside arm. A fold down arm is available to facilitate patient transfer, increase patient accessibility and reduce caregiver injury.
